Community unites in search for missing Mikaeel Kular

Hundreds of people have gathered to join the search for a missing three-year-old boy who was last seen on Wednesday night.

Mikaeel Kular disappeared from his home in Edinburgh after being put to bed on Wednesday night and has not been seen since.

A major ground, air, sea and search has so far failed to find any sign of Mikaeel who has been described as a "friendly little boy".

By 10am, 180 members of the public had registered at the North Neighbourhood Centre in West Pilton Gardens to join the search with hundreds more waiting outside to register.
