Turkmen President Kurbanguly Berdymukhamedov hits the decks with DJ set

Turkmen President Kurbanguly Berdymukhamedov has appeared on television showcasing his skills as a DJ.

Clips posted on YouTube by Turkmen music channel, Turkmen Owazy, show the president DJ-ing for two singers as well as performing some backup vocals.

Dressed all in white the president seems to be a hit with the audience who are shown clapping along to the songs and cheering between tracks.

It is not the first time the president has shown off his musical talents, in 2011 he appeared playing the guitar and singing a song he is believed to have penned himself:
