Coldplay stun fans with secret pub gig
Coldplay are used to performing in the largest venues around the world, but last night a small Somerset pub played host to one of the biggest bands in the world.
Stunned fans at the Ring o' Bells pub, in Compton Martin, Somerset, were treated to some of the band's greatest hits including The Scientist.
The Ring o' Bells pub is part owned by Miles Leonard, the Chairman of Parlophone, Coldplay's record label.
Excited fans took to Twitter to describe the "extraordinary experience".
Conor Maynard, Becky Hill and Chas 'n' Dave were amongst the other performers last night.
The pub is no stranger to A-list appearances after Kylie Minogue performed at the freehouse in 2010.
Ring o' Bells' regulars will be treated to carol songs from The Midsomer Norton and Radstock Silver Band tonight.
