Santa revellers descend on London in annual jamboree

Hundreds of Father Christmas enthusiasts have gathered in London for the annual SantaCon.

The SantaCon event is held in cities around the world, and in 2007 set a Guinness World Record when more than 17,000 Santas gathered in Ireland.

The organisers have issued useful guidance to their revellers, including nuggets of advice such as: "You MUST address everyone as 'Santa', you SHOULD 'ho-ho-ho' like Santa, you OUGHT to give out gifts like Santa."
