Olympic swimmer Rebecca Adlington put in a gold medal performance as she finally did her first Bush Tucker Trial after her campmates in I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here! voted for her to take part.

A nervous Adlington said she could "feel pressure because it's my campmates who put me up" but vowed to "stay as calm as possible".

She told hosts Ant and Dec: "It's like preparing for a race. I feel like I'm back in the Olympics" before climbing into a tank that filled with water and creatures including lizards, spiders, eels and crocodiles.

The athlete managed to find all 10 stars, meaning she won 10 meals for her campmates, and told them she was "absolutely buzzing".

She said: "My first trial, 10 stars, I couldn't be more happy. I'm pleased with myself for doing it and, yeah, it was amazing and I loved it."

But there was more trouble over camp contraband - a day after the celebrities had handed over handfuls of smuggled goods - when Rebecca confessed she had seen make-up smuggled in by Amy Willerton.
