'Ode to Osama' found on White Widow' Samantha Lewthwaite's computer

An international hunt for British terror suspect Samantha Lewthwaite is underway.

Fresh details have emerged about the life of fugitive British terror suspect Samantha Lewthwaite, dubbed the "White Widow".

The 29-year-old is the widow of Germaine Lindsay, one of the suicide bombers who killed more than 50 people on London's transport system in 2005.

She has been linked to the terrorist group al Shabaab who were behind the attack on Kenya's Westgate mall.

A tenancy agreement found by police on her computer reveals Lewthwaite lived in an apartment nearby in Nairobi for several months in 2011.

A poem celebrating the life of Osama Bin Laden was also found on the computer, entitled "Ode to Osama".

It included the lines: "Al Qaeda are stronger and fiercer than ever. Thinking in the end you are stupid it will NEVER....

"Their [sic] was no victory for you Mr Obama, the honour is his on martyred Osama."

ITV News' Africa Correspondent Rohit Kachroo reports:

ITV News has seen Kenyan court documents on Lewthwaite which show that last Friday a hearing was called for police to explain why they had not yet found the fugitive and to request that a warrant for her arrest by reissued.

Prosecutor Jacob Ondari said: "The case is still alive and the arrest warrants are out. Once we have arrested her, she will be taken to court".
