Ricky Gervais brought The Office to the stage last night, with comic creation David Brent and his band Foregone Conclusion.

The cringeworthy character had reportedly sold out Bloomsbury Theatre in 15 seconds, having promoted his music career with a series of YouTube videos entitled "Learn Guitar with David Brent".

Gervais/Brent made quite an effort, boasting a waistcoat, sunglasses and a silver ring in his ear.

He played hits including "Free Love Freeway", "Slough" and "Equality Street", featuring comedy rapper Doc Brown.

Brown also took to the stage before the show with a warm-up act, and there was even a cameo intro from famed Office-worker Keith, played by Ewen MacIntosh.

The Mirror has reported David Brent will soon be forming a supergroup with ex-Razorlight star Andy Burrows for a Wembley Arena show.
