US stuntman successfully flies through narrow mountain valley in China
American wingsuiter Jeb Corliss successfully flew through a narrow valley in the Langshan Mountain in Quzhou, east China's Zhejiang Province today.
The 298-metre-deep valley is only 20 metres wide at its widest point and only 3.5 metres wide at its narrowest point.
Corliss jumped out of a helicopter and flew towards the valley at 160 kilometres per hour.
Speaking earlier today, Corliss admitted that the challenge was one of the most "difficult" jumps he would try:
The 37-year-old stuntman has gone skydiving nearly 1,000 times, laying a solid foundation for such a challenging flight.
After successfully completing the challenge, Corliss said that he found the experience "scary":
He injured his leg in South Africa in 2012 and after one year of rehabilitation he gave up two challenging projects in Alaska, the United States, and picked this challenging project in China.
