Adam Sandler attacked by a cheetah on safari

Hollywood actor Adam Sandler has revealed how he was nearly mauled by a cheetah while on a trip to a wildlife park in Africa.

The 46-year-old recalled the story on the US talk show Late Night With David Letterman:

The star of Funny People and 50 First Dates said he was told he could “feed the cheetah water with my hands” - but was almost immediately pounced on.

"All I was going to do was let him eat me. There was not one part of me that was going to fight back. I was like, 'so this is how I’m dying. That’s great'", he joked

Luckily, he was quickly rescued by a member of staff and can now laugh about the incident.
