X Factor finalist Jahmene Douglas believes things could "get crazy" on the show this year, with the return of Sharon Osbourne.

Douglas's mentor Nicole Scherzinger is back on the panel in the 10th series, alongside returning judges Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and Osbourne, who has made a triumphant comeback to the ITV talent show after leaving in 2007.

The 22-year-old singer, who came second to winner James Arthur, said:

Douglas, whose debut album Love Never Fails and new single Titanium will be released on July 22, admitted he would have preferred former Pussycat Doll Scherzinger to concentrate on her music career instead of being a television judge.

Douglas, who is set to perform a one-off concert at St James's Piccadilly, London on July 18, revealed Scherzinger has become a good friend. They duet on a cover of Whitney Houston's hit The Greatest Love Of All on his album.

"To have my friend on my album - that's cool," he said.

Douglas also joked Scherzinger might need her own dictionary for her vocabulary this upcoming season.
