Victoria Beckham has been crowned Woman of the Decade at a glitzy showbiz awards ceremony.

The 39-year-old Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer was presented with the accolade at the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards.

Victoria, who has recently relocated back to London with her family, took along her eldest son Brooklyn and her mother for support.

Speaking after receiving the award, she said: "My mum is my woman of the year. I'm sure a lot of people say that about their mums but she is. She's here tonight.

"I really love women but there aren't enough women out there who support other women. That's what we should do, support each other. That's why I'm here tonight."

Nicole Scherzinger, who is returning as an X Factor judge this year, was named best TV personality at the awards ceremony, which was held in Berkeley Square.

Hot Right Now and How We Do (Party) singer Rita Ora won best solo artist - and was presented with the gong by the woman she calls "wifey", model-of-the-moment Cara Delevingne.
