Police officer sold Kate Middleton security details to the Sun

A former police officer has been jailed for two years for selling stories about Kate Middleton and a host celebrities to the Sun newspaper.

Paul Flatley made thousands of pounds from his tip-offs and leaks.

Details of his sentencing emerged as the former boss of Rupert Murdoch's newspaper empire, Rebekah Brooks appeared in court, facing phone hacking and other charges.
