Man charged with murder after body found in Georgia search
Police have found the body of a young woman believed to be 17-year-old Georgia Williams, who disappeared from her home in Shropshire on Sunday.
A 22-year-old local man, Jamie Reynolds, has been charged with the teenager's murder.
West Mercia Police said early indications suggest the discovery of the body is linked to the girl's disappearance.
ITV News Correspondent Rupert Evelyn reports:
They said they believe Williams died at an address in Wellington, Shropshire.
The body was found today in woodland near Nant-y-Garth pass, Wrexham, North Wales.
Reynolds will appear at Telford Magistrates Court tomorrow morning.
Superintendent Nav Malik of West Mercia Police, who said Georgia's family were "devastated", told reporters:
Earlier, friends of Georgia spoke of their hope of her safe return as they leafleted people in her home town of Wellington in a bid to raise awareness about her disappearance.
Georgia was last seen by her parents on Sunday evening when she told them she was going to see friends.
