British troops and technology overhaul army in Mali

The Defence Secretary, Philip Hammond, has paid tribute to the British troops and technology involved in overhauling the army of the West African country of Mali.

They were sent in, as part of a European Union mission, to train up Mali forces, so they could protect their country against Islamist militants. From Mali, our Correspondent Neil Connery, reports.
