Curbing Immigration at the heart of Queen's Speech

The Government has put new attempts to curb immigration at the heart of its agenda for the coming year.

New laws, set out in today's Queen's Speech, involve migrants paying for NHS care and landlords being forced to check immigrants status.

It all comes less than a week after UKIP's strong showing at the local elections.
