Newtown families plead for gun control ahead of US vote

Four months after the Newtown school shooting that left 20 young children and six of their teachers dead, US Senators will vote on Thursday on watered down plans for gun control.

Among those lobbying on President Obama's behalf today was the mother of the one British boy who was killed.
