Churches claim the government's benefit reforms are 'unjust'

The Government has defended its reforms to the benefits system which take effect from tomorrow, after a group of churches accused them of being 'unjust'.

Ministers said the changes are necessary to make work pay, and those most in need will not lose out.

Meanwhile, Labour says the Government's policies will make families almost £900 pounds a year worse off from tomorrow.
