Parliamentary tradition dictates that the Deputy Speaker of the House of Commons gets his moment in the spotlight on Budget day.

Lindsay Hoyle, MP for Chorley in Lancashire, was in charge of the big occasion for the fourth time today.

But this time - with his put-downs about pantomimes and Chester Football Club - he injected some fun into the otherwise serious proceedings.
