Janet Jackson reveals secret marriage

Janet Jackson has quashed rumours she is planning to marry billionaire Wissam Al Mana - by announcing they're already married.

"The rumours regarding an extravagant wedding are simply not true”, Jackson said in a statement on her website.

She revealed that she married the 37-year-old billionaire last year in a “quiet, private, and beautiful ceremony”.

The younger sister of the late Michael Jackson added that “wedding gifts to one another were contributions to our respective charities”.

The 46-year-old singer is known for keeping her private life from the media, rarely speaking about her ex-husbands.

It is Jackson’s third marriage after previously marrying soul singer James DeBarge in 1984 which was annulled a year later. Her second marriage to music video director Rene Elizondo in 1991 ended in divorce in 2000.
