Naga Sadhus, or Hindu holy men hold the hair of another Naga Sadhu for drying on the banks of the river Ganges after taking holy dip during the third 'Shahi Snan' (grand bath) at the ongoing "Kumbh Mela".

During the festival, Hindus take part in a religious gathering on the banks of the river Ganges.

Workers repair damage caused after a meteorite passed above the Urals city of Chelyabinsk, Russia.

More than 500 people were injured when the meteorite shot across the sky and exploded over central Russia, sending fireballs crashing to Earth, shattering windows and damaging buildings.

The world's most expensive wedding cake has been assembled in Liverpool.

The cake is worth £32.4 million, beating the previous most expensive which was worth around £12.8 million.

It is covered in over 2000 diamonds.
