Sir Bradley Wiggins on why he may play a 'support role' at 2013 Tour de France
Sir Bradley Wiggins has spoken to ITV News' Sport Editor Steve Scott about this year's Tour de France and explained why he might not be in the front riding seat for Team Sky.
In a role reversal, he is expected to support his team mate Chris Froome's bid to win the race after he helped him seal victory last year.
Wiggins also has his eye on the Giro d'Italia pink jersey this year, while Froome's key objective is the Tour.
The 2012 winner said he will be there as the defending champion but in what capacity has yet to be decided.
He also said the decision will be made in terms of leadership in the run up to the race.
