A north Wales hotel has been voted the world's best for service
A hotel in Wales, with prices starting at £35 a head, has been voted the world's best for service by global travellers.
The Lauriston Court Hotel in Llandudno, north Waleswas given the title after information was gathered from thousands of guests' reviews on the TripAdvisor website.
It was also voted sixth in the world's top ten bargain hotels category.
Four other British establishments also made it into the world top ten:
2nd - Athole Guest House in Bath
3rd - No1 in St Ives, Cornwall
6th - All Seasons Guest House in Filey, North Yorkshire
7th - St Michael's Guest House in Scarborough, North Yorkshire
Rudding Park in Harrogate, North Yorkshire was voted the best UK hotel, with The Chester Residence in Edinburgh as the UK's best small hotel.
