Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards dives into Splash! semi-final
British skiing legend Eddie 'The Eagle' Edwards launched himself off the 10 metre diving board and into the Splash! semi-final with a show-stopping dive.
The former Olympian completed a forward one-and-a-half somersault pike and finished top of the celebrities taking part in the ITV1 show:
Judge Jo Brand described Eddie's dive as: "Absolutely, utterly brilliant" and former Olympic diver Leon Taylor said it was the "dive of the series, so far."
Eddie scored 27.5 out of a possible 30 and he went on to top the leader board once viewers votes were added to the judge's scores.
But former ski jumper Edwards, who soared to glorious failure in the 1988 winter games, joked he had "ruined his reputation" by winning tonight's show.
Model Caprice and Celebrity gardener Diarmuid Gavin received the least votes overall and left the show after one dive.

But The Only Way is Essex star Joey Essex and Sky Sports presenter Charlotte Jackson got one more chance to dive in the Splash Off:
Following the Splash Off, two out the three judges voted for Charlotte to progress into the semi-final, sending Joey home.
Edwards and Jackson join comedian Omid Djalili and actor Jake Canuso in the next round of the show, with interior designer Linda Barker, comedian Dom Joly and boxer Anthony Ogogo all lined up to perform next weekend.
