Naomi Campbell injured after 'Paris street robbery'

Naomi Campbell has been injured in a street robbery in Paris, as she attempted to hail a taxi.

The supermodel suffered a torn ligament in the incident, according to the New York Post.

A source told the newspaper:

It is not known what, if anything, was taken from the model during the incident, which happened a month ago.

Campbell has been seen using a wheelchair and crutches to get around recently, but only now has the cause of her injury been revealed.

When a reporter at the New York Post reached the supermodel, she said: “I am sorry, I do not talk to press, but I am fine.”
