The party-loving actor Charlie Sheen has reportedly opened his own bar in a resort in Mexico.

The Two and a Half Men star posted several tweets about the grand opening of a rooftop venue in Los Cabos named 'Epic'.

Sheen also posted a photo of himself with Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, reportedly taken at the hotel where the event took place, saying the Mayor "knows how to party".

Sheen posted another tweet suggesting hip-hop artist P Diddy was among the guests at the lavish bash, with music provided by Guns 'N' Rose guitarist Slash.

The musician's tweet the following morning seemed to imply that Sheen's party had gone to plan:

Sheen was fired from Two and a Half Men in March 2011 amid allegations about his lifestyle and battle with drugs.
