England players have expressed their joy at a 10-wicket win over India in Mumbai - and have quickly turned their thoughts to celebrating.

The impressive win was secured after openers Alastair Cook and Nick Compton easily reached their target of 57 before lunch.

India were 117-7 in their second innings overnight and the final three tickets were taken by Monty Panesar – taking his toll to 11 wickets for the match - and fellow spinner Graeme Swann.

The victory levelled the series 1-1 with two more matches to play.

Following a turbulent six months, Kevin Pietersen appears to have won back the confidence of his team-mates after his decisive 186 in the first innings.

Cook impressed again and added to his 122 in the first innings by reaching 18 not out on the way to the win.

It was only England's second Test win in India in 14 matches. The team travels to Kolkota for the third match on 5 December.
