New Yorkers stand together as power cuts continue in the wake of Sandy

It has been nearly two weeks since Hurricane Sandy battered America's east coast, but in some of the poorer neighbourhoods of New York, there are still thousands without power.

As the winter starts to bite and temperatures plummet and winter bites. ITV News Special Correspondent Geraint Vincent has met home owners in Brooklyn who are still picking up the pieces.
