Fighting rages on in Syria amid international condemnation
World leaders were given an alarming assessment of the conflict in Syria today as they met at the United National General Assembly in New York today.
The UN head Ban Ki-Moon called it a regional calamity with global ramifications and urged the international community to "stop the violence and flows of arms to both sides".
