Prince Harry warns witty six-year-old not to mention Las Vegas

Prince Harry wagged his finger at Alex Logan when he met the witty six-year-old this evening at the Wellchild Awards, a ceremony which honours seriously ill children and their carers.

Earlier today Alex told ITV News he was going to tell the Prince he was "glad he got his clothes on" when he saw him.

Alex appeared poised to broach the topic when the two met at the awards ceremony this evening. But Prince Harry made it clear discussions about this naked Las Vegas escapades were off limits.

Alex's mum Debbie described the meeting:

Alex Logan did not tell Prince Harry he was glad he had his clothes on.

Harry's appearance at the WellChild awards ceremony, at the InterContinental Park Lane hotel in central London, was his first since the naked images first appeared on the web.

He looked relaxed, joking and laughing with the seriously ill award-winning youngsters including Alex, in remission from acute leukaemia, who at one point put his soft-toy penguin on the Prince's forehead.

Harry is patron of WellChild, a UK charity dedicated to the needs of sick children and their families, whose children's nurses provide specialist medical care and direct support in the home for chronically ill youngsters.

The Prince presented awards to ten young winners and said the work of the charity "made everyday worries seem very insignificant" and that he was humbled to be there. Royal Correspondent Tim Ewart reports:
