Ronan Keating revealed on ITV1's Daybreak this morning that he is "doing well" after a "tough time" following the split from his wife.

Speaking to Daybreak's Kate Garraway and Dan Lobb, the singer was asked if his life is back on track following the split.

The singer went on to deny that he vetoed the decision to allow actor Colin Farrell to join Boyzone.

"I heard something about this too, that I was the one," said Keating. "How could I? I was 16 years of age. Why would Louis [Walsh] listen to me and not put Colin in the band? Seriously, that's a bit weird isn't it?

"That's a bit of an odd story, I didn't even know Colin Farrell back then. It's not true at all, absolutely not true."
