Shocked shoppers look on as bear wanders around US mall
Shoppers at a Pennsylvanian shopping mall were left stunned when a 125 pound bear wandered into a department store.
Local media reported the bear ran through the parking lot of the Pittsburgh Mills mall in Frazer Township before entering a Sears department store through an automated door.
The 125-pound bear walked around the store for about 10 minutes and growled at customers before becoming stuck between a set of double doors.
The Pennsylvania Game Commission tranquilized the bear and removed it from the mall, which is about 15 miles north-east of Pittsburgh. Nobody was injured.
Authorities say the bear appeared to be around one and a half years old and had a tracking collar on it.
It was not immediately known where the bear came from but it is believed to have travelled a significant distance.
