Denver victim Jessica Ghawi had survived previous mass shooting

Jessica Ghawi was among the 12 people killed by a gunman at a Batman screening in Denver, Colorado.

The 24-year-old was nearly involved in another shooting in Toronto, Canada, a month earlier where one person was left dead and seven injured.

In her final blog post, she wrote about the "empty, almost sickening feeling" she had felt at the shopping centre.

She then wrote about how the experience had affected her:
