'Finding Nemo 2', Monsters University, and Toy Story 4?

Finding Nemo, Monsters, Inc., Toy Story have helped establish Disney-Pixar as the giant overlord of film animation.

These films thrilled cinemagoers of all ages with their cutting edge computer animations and made millions of pounds worldwide.

And now, there are reports that 'Finding Nemo 2' is in the pipeline.

Science fiction action movie John Carter may have been a box-office flop, but that has not deterred its director Andrew Stanton from diving back into the deep end signing up to a Finding Nemo sequel, according to reports.

Stanton directed and won an Oscar for the first film, so is a natural choice for a follow-up.

Deadline Hollywood, which broke the news, reports that Stanton "has a concept the studio loves".

Disney-Pixar are yet to comment on the film's development.

Meanwhile, Pixar has confirmed that Monster University is officially set to be released on June 21, 2013.The film is directed by Dan Scanlon (Cars, Mater and the Ghostlight, Tracy ) and produced by Kori Rae (Up, The Incredibles, Monsters, Inc.)

And if that wasn't enough, there are also rumours abound that the stars of Woody, Buzz Lightyear and co could be returning to the big screen in Toy Story 4.

The last instalment was the highest-grossing animated film of all time, and according to the movie website IMDB, the 8th highest grossing film of all time.

Last June in an interview with the BBC, Tom Hanks who is the voice behind the toy cowboy character Woody in the "Toy Story" films) said that he believed "Toy Story 4" was being worked on.

That film would the latest installment in what has become one of the most successful franchises in animated film history.
