New faces on the Daybreak sofa
Lorraine Kelly and Aled Jones will be the new presenters of ITV1's Daybreak.
Kelly, who already presents her successful weekday morning show Lorraine, will be joined by choirboy-turned broadcaster Aled Jones, her good friend.
They both seem thrilled to working together. Lorraine said:
Bangor-born Aled Jones was a child star after being spotted singing as a chorister in his hometown and recorded hits including Walking in the Air from the animated film The Snowman.
He went on to perform on stage and presented radio and television shows including Songs of Praise.
Aled said he was delighted to be working with "such a consummate professional" and was looking forward to having lots of on-screen, early morning fun.
Jones and Kelly will take up their new jobs later this year replacing Adrian Chiles and Christine Bleakley who left in December.
