Fabrice Muamba spoke to Adrian Chiles about his remarkable recovery, ahead of tomorrow's FA Cup final on ITV1.

The Bolton Wanderers midfielder told Chiles he was very happy and very grateful to be alive.

He said his recovery surprised his doctors and was proof that "miracles do happen."

The midfielder collapsed on the pitch in the first half of Bolton's FA quarter-final at Tottenham Hotspur on March 17.

His doctors told him they did not expect to see him walk out of hospital.
