Gossip Girl star: Hurley the 'epitome' of an ideal woman

Chace Crawford described Elizabeth Hurley as the ‘epitome’ of an ideal woman on ITV1's Lorraine this morning.

The actor’s character becomes romantically involved with the British beauty in the new series of Gossip Girl, and described working alongside Elizabeth as ‘phenomenal’.

The actor went on to confess he had no idea how popular Gossip Girl would become. He explained: "There was no real way to gauge it I guess, but we’ve had a great run, a really good run. So we’re still going, we’ve got maybe one more year left.”

Chace also revealed he enjoys relaxing by visiting his family in Dallas, Texas, and is excited about becoming an uncle.
