Aspirin 'may prevent cancer'

There is strong evidence that a daily dose of aspirin could prevent cancer and stop it spreading in patients who already have it.
The research also found that bleeding in the stomach, which has been linked to taking daily aspirin, subsides after a while and that it does not prove fatal.
Professor Peter Rothwell, the leader of the Oxford University group that did the research said:
