Love Island

Where are the Love Island: Australia couples now?

Millie and Mark

OG Islander Millie surprised us all when she fell for blonde model Mark, having prayed for a rough and ready tradie from day one. But she clearly made the right choice, as the couple stayed together for a whole six months... before they sadly split.

She shared the reason for their breakup on Instagram, saying: "Mark and I have had such an amazing time together and we will forever cherish our special moments, unfortunately at this point in time we have decided we are both going in different directions and have to part ways."

Brb, going to cry into my lunch. 😭

Shelby and Dom

Things didn't fare much better for blonde babes Shelby and Dom, who split just a matter of weeks after leaving the villa in fourth place.

At the time, Dom released a statement, saying: “We have decided that we are best off as friends. This is something we had both recently discussed and agreed upon and is not a sudden decision.”

Amelia and Josh

One couple that did go the distance is Amelia and Josh, who are still together to this very day!

The pair coupled up quite late in the game and made it all the way to the final, eventually bowing out in third place. But that clearly didn't kill their connection, as they're still going strong almost two years on.

Side note: their adorable Instagram couple pics are almost too much to handle. 💖

Erin and Eden

Despite seeing marriage and babies in their future, second place couple Erin and Eden didn't quite make it in the outside world. Just two months after the final, the pair shared a joint statement with news of their split.

"We wanted to share with you, that after much deliberation, we have quietly parted ways. We look back and cherish the time we have spent together, the memories we have created, in both Spain and in Australia,” they said.

Tayla and Grant

There was no happy ending for winners Tayla and Grant either, who broke up just a matter of weeks after taking the top spot.

Tayla posted a statement on Instagram, saying: "It’s with great heartbreak that I write this post to inform everyone that Grant and I are no longer together...

"I hope everyone can understand that the last few days have been very emotional and overwhelming for me and that you can all respect my decision."

But it seems she did find love elsewhere in the villa... Tayla coupled up with fellow Islander Dom just months later and became his first ever girlfriend!

Sadly though, they didn't go the distance and eventually parted ways in June 2019.
