Love Island

Six things we learnt on day 29

Our boys and girls have been savagely separated for a good few days now so we thought it was time for a reunion back at the main villa. While some of our Islanders stayed faithful to their couples, others opted to recouple - leaving Georgia devastated when Josh walked in arm-in-arm with Kazimir. Wes also got a shock when he found out that Megan's smitten with new boy Alex, and Dani came face-to-face with Jack's ex Ellie. We can't imagine them all living together is going to be awkward at all... here's what we learnt on day 29.

1. Cheese toasties have never had such bad press

Imagining the worst about what Jack might be getting up to with ex-girlfriend Ellie over at Casa Amor, Dani took a swipe at the late night carbs. "I know what girls can do, it’s happened to me before," she told Georgia. "It’s Jack, but he’s still a boy. Imagine a girl sitting there, lipstick, tits, not eating toasties every night."

We're Team Toastie all the way.

2. Jack's becoming something of an oracle

"There are real relationships and real lives and real feelings and you can’t hide that," Jack told Wes as he discussed his excitement at getting back to the villa to see Dani. "I want to go back to being in my bed with my girlfriend, not sleeping in a bed in the garden."

The man's got a point...

3. The claws are out

When Georgia kicked off about what she'd seen of Josh in the Casa Amor Villa Story, Megan and Samira weren't particularly impressed by her reaction. "G just needs to calm herself, she does overreact though," said Samira. "I think whatever it would have been she would have had a reaction," agreed Megan, before sassy Sam decided: "I’m just going to stay out of her way, I can’t be bothered."Nothing like being there for your friend when she's upset, is there?

4. Hairdressers and doctors have more in common than we thought

Alex and Grace is the recoupling we never saw coming, but anyone who can find common ground between hairdressing and being a doctor gets our vote. "It’s been interesting getting to know you," Alex complimented, adding: "You’re a hairdresser but you’re also a business woman." "But you’re really well educated, you’re a doctor," she replied, to which he told her: "We both look after people at the end of the day.""Yeah. You save lives and I change lives," she reasoned.

Step aside, Harry and Meghan!

5. Do not provoke the wrath of Georgia

She's got a soft heart and is incredibly loyal, but there's no denying that our Georgia's got a feisty side. Well aware that he was about to step into the lioness's den back at the main villa, Josh told us: "Do I think Georgia will be bothered? Absolutely. Do I care? Absolutely. Am I upset and a bit nervous, for sure."

"I am pooing my pants basically," he declared. Rather you than us, Josh.

6. Georgia really is made of Steel

When the man you've admitted you're falling for walks into the villa hand-in-hand with a hot new girl, some might be tempted to shout/crumble/burst into tears. But Little G proved she is made of powerful stuff, turning away for a quiet moment of composure before staring a very sheepish Josh in the face. If looks could kill...
