Seven things we learnt on day 51
The aftermath of the lie detector test rippled through the villa as the Islanders' insecurities were left exposed. Jack was fuming with Dani, new Laura let her guard down new Jack, while Alexandra doubted the strength of Alex's feelings. The next morning we all breathed a sigh of relief when Jani kissed and made up, but the there was more tension when the Islanders heard the headlines and found out what you really thought about them. Here's what we learnt.
1. We’re still not bored of Jack’s morning hair
Even that grumpy morning face can’t take away from this.
2. We need to stand at least 10 feet from Josh at all times
The reflection from those glasses looks like it will burn right through to the soul...
3. Baby Arabella and Theodore are on their way…
We know things move fast in the villa, but baby names already for Laura and Paul?
"When you’re older that’s what you talk about," she told the Beach Hut, before asking: "It’s not that scary is it?"
4. The nation can rest easy - Jack and Dani are gonna be ok!
Sweet, sweet relief.
5. Wes’s speech to Megan made us so emotional
Feeling insecure about whether Wes would be embarrassed to introduce her to his parents, Meg opened up to her man about being ashamed of her past. Wes gave all the reassurance she could wish for AND called her a princess in the process."It’s been difficult but you’ve made the best of a bad situation. I want to give you the best that I can possibly give you," he told her before adding: "You deserve to be treated like a princess, you do."
"I want to make everything perfect, I want to sure you’re ok," he told her.
6. The Islanders really needed an easy day after the lie detector test…
Another savage challenge it is, then.
7. Face washing standards in the villa are high
Washing off all those dirty headlines?
