Five things we learnt on day 46
Pass the tissues - day 46 was an emotional one. There was grafting everywhere ahead of the recoupling, with old Laura and Alexandra both grafting Paul, Alex realising he gave up on Alexandra too soon, new Laura feeling very smitten about new Jack, which mugged Steph off entirely. When the time finally came, it turned out to be some of the most emotional firepit fireworks to date as Georgia really did prove her loyalty to Sam, and the pair dramatically decided to quit the villa so that they could be together. Here's what we learnt on day 46.
1. Jack is as confused as we are about who's grafting who
There's a lot of single people kicking about the villa, and there's so much grafting going on we don't know where to look. The morning after Jack's secret snog with surfer Laura, old Jack wanted some clarification on the previous night's events. "Right, who likes everyone? I didn’t know what was happening... I'm just so lost," he told the boys.
It's not just us, then...
2. Find mates that get this excited when you kiss a girl
These boys were BUZZING for Jack when they found out he kissed new Laura. We're here for it.
3. If you want your kiss to stay secret, don’t tell people
New Jack told old Jack he kissed new Laura, who told Alex, who mentioned it to old Laura, who then shared it with Steph, who also happened to be grafting new Jack, and she felt proper mugged off. She confronted new Jack, and it was all kinds of spicy.
4. One picture - so much to take in
Wes, the curly straw. Alex, the colours, the moves. Drink it in, people.
5. Sam and Georgia really did prove everyone wrong
They had their doubters both inside and outside of the villa, but Sam and Georgia's feelings for each other proved to be stronger than their desire to stay on the Island. After dramatically refusing to recouple, the Steel Bird had no choice but to leave the villa if they wanted to be together. It's been a dramatic journey for these two, but they passed the ultimate test. Who's gonna tell us they're loyal now?!
