Eight things we learnt on day 53

Our couples headed out on their incredibly romantic final dates, and while Jack and Dani's relationship hit new heights and Laura and Paul enjoyed a sunset snogfest, Alex was more revved up by his Ferrari than his stunning date Alexandra. After seeking advice from Jack and Dani he decided to call it quits, but not before she called him out for wasting her time. Can the villa cope with another broken heart? Here's what we learnt...

1. Josh is the guy that apologises for taking your make up off when you kiss him

Feeling grateful to have stayed in the villa following Jack and Laura's emotional dumping, Josh and Kaz shared a tender moment. But Josh was full of apologies for taking Kaz’s lipstick off when they shared a sexy smooch. “We’re blessed… apart from me taking all your make up off. I’m sorry, I apologise,” he told her.

She’s really got this guy hooked, hasn’t she?

2. Jack’s only just realised how white his teeth are

“How white are they?!” Jack marvelled in the mirror as he and Dani got ready for bed.

Dani's been dazzled by you from the start, Jack.

3. It's hard to make sense of a text in the middle of the night

Jack’s surprise wake up text left sleepy Wes all confused. “You’re going out for dinner aren’t you?” He questioned. Not at 5am Wes, no.

4. It’s not easy to climb into a hot air balloon

Especially when you’re as short as Dani. And especially when you're wearing a denim dress.

5. Jack and Dani have got SO much furniture shopping to look forward to

It's been one hell of a whirlwind journey for this pair. They met, they fell in love, and now they’re moving in together! Just think of all that flat-pack...

6. Dani’s wisdom never fails

Reeling after her romantic morning, Dani was blown away by her dizzy date. "I didn’t realise you could have such a good chat on a balloon," she told the girls, before adding: "I think people could sort their problems out on a balloon because you can’t get off."

Girl’s got a point.

7. A man that shows more affection for his car than you = warning sign

He says he finds it difficult to show affection, but Alex was certainly laying it on factor 50 thick when it came to complimenting the Ferrari he got to drive. Poor Alexandra was the third-wheel on her own date, which definitely isn't a good sign for a blossoming relationship...
