Six things we learnt on day 44
Our four new arrivals must have some seriously special powers of attraction, as they'd barely set foot in the villa before most of our existing couples were questioning their relationships.Alex and Alexandra went from full-speed to snail's pace, Sam and Georgia could barely look at each other despite claiming to be the villa's strongest couple the day before, and after seeking some advice from his best boys, Jack decided to end things with Laura... again. Here's what else we learnt on day 44.
1. Wes and Meg are in loooooove
They took a while to find each other and took a lot of risks in the process, but Wes and Meg have gone from flirting to grafting to kissing to full on LOVE! Maybe it really does conquer all...
2. The Jack-Wes-Josh three way bromance is everything
They laugh about farting and crack jokes all day, but equally they’re supportive of the serious stuff, and Wes and Josh were on hand to dish out some brotherly advice to Jack about his relationship with Laura. This is bromance goals right here.
3. The Islanders have finally been housetrained
Maybe it’s got something to do with the fact that there aren’t 200 people in the villa anymore, but just look at that sparkling kitchen!
4. Laura’s a musician now
You get a lot of time to hang around in that villa, and Laura’s used hers to discover that the water bottles are actually musical instruments. REVELATION.
5. If you take risks in life… iced coffee deliveries could be yours
Perfect girlfriend Kaz dropped off a well-timed delivery for Josh, just as Jack was reconsidering his relationship with Laura. “Buy the wedding dress yeah?” Josh told his girl as she walked away smiling.
Nailed it, Kaz.
6. Whatever you do, don’t agree to a chat in break up corner
Laura! You know it’s not good news for your relationship if you head over there!
