8 things we learnt on day 47
If day 47 was a cake, it would be a rocky road.

1. You've got to bet big to win big according to Ovie
Ovie is all about taking risks, and had some words of wisdom for Amber before she made her recoupling decision: "The connection you have with Michael is much stronger than the connection you have with Greg... It’s a bigger gamble, but the pay off will be much higher.”
Well, we wouldn't bet on Amber following through with Ovie's advice! Our Geordie went with her gut and recoupled with the lovely Greg.
2. Michael was saved by the text
Michael pulled Amber for a chat before the recoupling, and was interrupted by Anna's phone: “I was gonna do something then… that text stopped me. I’m not gonna do it now.”
All guesses for what Michael was about to do are welcome.
3. Francesca brought all the lols...
...And some VERY impressive savagery.
Francesca's recoupling speech was a masterpiece, so here it is in its entirety: "I would like to couple up with this person because… Well, what can I say, you’d all probably go hungry every night if it wasn’t for this man here making you all cheese toasties. I’ve personally really struggled to find a connection with anyone here and as you’re an expert, I’m hoping that you might be able to teach me a few things. I think you’re a great person, and I haven’t really got any other choice. So the boy I’d like to couple up with is… Michael.”

5. Ovie's lamp is as cool as him
It's a fact. Simple as that.
6. If in doubt, bring both.
Greg wanted to surprise Amber with a morning brew, but just one issue... he didn't know if she wanted green tea or normal tea. SO HE BROUGHT BOTH. Yep, you read that right.

There's nothing sweeter than this. Seriously, nothing can compete.

7. Salmons are taking over the villa
*Read in the best David Attenborough voice you can muster*
If you look very closely, you'll see a salmon in red shorts flapping ferociously into the pool. Here, he'll swim to the depths of the water in the aim of impressing a potential Irish mate, before returning to dry off under the hot summer sun.
This display is known as the quest for trobbin'.
8. Chris is full of surprises
Whilst chatting all things fave bedroom positions, Chris blew our minds once again, revealing: “Mine is the anaconda.”
Very confused, Harley replied: “Can you talk me through it, please?" Don't worry, Harley, we're 100% with you on this one.
