7 things we learnt on day 46
A head once turned may turn back...
Michael's head fully swivelled while Amber was in Casa Amor, but since Joanna's departure, it seems like he's now gone full Tommy Style with a 560° turn we didn't even see coming!
As day 46 flew in and turned everything upside down, there were many discoveries to be had. Our Islanders taught us that the eclipse is magical, folding clothes can be very, VERY sexy and Francesca really is bringing the sunglasses game up a level.
Take a look at everything we learnt...
1. Michael had the WHOLE nation making this face
Whilst telling Amber he still had feelings for her, our Geordie questioned Michael's motives, asking: "What was all that Island Club stuff then? Your philosophical words of, 'I’ve found what I’m looking for' and all that stuff?"
Our jaws hit the floor at Michael's response (plz look away now, Joanna): "Did you hear me say anything about any specific person." Oof, that was intense.
2. Team Greg or Team Michael
With two men now fighting over her, Amber has to decide whether to stick with the old or try something new.
Since Michael laid all his cards on the table, Greg pulled Amber for a chat to tell her where his head's at: "I’m obviously rooting for team Greg, but just be true to yourself" Could he be any sweeter?!
Our rugby player told the Beach Hut: “It would be nice for her to try something new, rather than going back to the man that made a mistake."
But with a recoupling looming, who will Amber pick? We'll have to wait and see...
3. Wishes do come true
Under the magical night sky, India told Ovie: "There's not just a full moon, it's an eclipse, special night... Have you made a wish?"
Smooth as could be, Ovie replied: "Give me a little kiss"
And the rest was history.
4. Ovie is Superman?!
Everything's starting to make sense now...
5. There's nothing sexier than folding clothes
Chris took on the role of Quantity Surveyor as he told the Beach Hut: "I'm not a very sexy person, I wouldn't say. So I went for a slightly different angle." And boy did he have us laughing.
Maura wasn't the only one who couldn't look away after seeing our Surveyor's interesting approach: "Very unique, I mean he folded all his clothes after ripping them off him."
Well, you can't fault Chris' logic: "Girls like a neat guy."
6. Tommy and Molly-Mae's losing streak is still going strong!
Tommy decided to take a risk in the challenge and picked Molly-Mae up in a fireman's lift before running through concrete (aka corn starch). Our boxer revealed his logic to the Beach Hut: "I didn't really think it through. I thought, 'Hold on a minute. What if I fall?!'"
With us all out of our seats in anticipation, Anton said it how it is: "Tommy and sexy just doesn't work and I thought Molly was gonna end up in A&E. But he managed to pull it off and get to the other side."
Tbh this whole challenge was a risk assessment nightmare.
7. Francesca's bringing the sunglasses game up a notch
That is all.
