8 things we learnt on day 45

As one love triangle crumbles, another is formed. It's science, guys.

Day 45 took the villa by storm as Curtis and Tommy put a twist on pillow talk... we're still not completely sure what was going on there. In other news, Chris taught us the definition of Ovie'd and although it seemed like Mamber were at the point of no return, they might not actually be 100% over.

Have a scroll to find out everything we learnt...

1. The girls said a prayer for Amber

Sending Amber off on her date with Greg, Anna, Maura and Molly-Mae said a little prayer, hoping that he would be everything our fiery Geordie's ever dreamt of...

Holding hands, Molly-Mae began: "Our father who art in heaven, please allow Greg to be the one for Amber. Our girl, she’s had a very hard journey in here and we just really want Greg to be the one for her. Please be 6ft, please have tattoos and please have piercings."

*Quiet amens could be heard across the nation*

2. Name someone more excited for Amber. We'll wait.

Note to the Islanders: Make sure Ovie's got at least one foot of room either side before telling him any exciting news. Poor Tommy nearly lost a tooth!

Okay, we were ALL absolutely thrilled to find out that Amber got a date, but Ovie took it to another level, jumping out of his seat at lightning speed to celebrate the news. Too. Cute.

3. Curtis and Tommy had a different type of pillow talk

Subtlety is deffo not Curtis and Tommy's strong suit.

We don't know if our bezzies think cushions have some sort of invisibility cloak, but they used one to guard them against the outside world as they had a very important catch up about Curtis's eventful night with Maura.

Our dancer didn't give much away: "All I can say is it was hot."

4. Chris got Ovie'd

Ovie'd:

Verb

  • When someone takes the girl that you like, it’s like a horror film."I think I’m getting Ovie'd"

Synonyms: Michael'd or Jordan'd

5. But it's not Ovie yet...

Chris lay contemplating his future love life on the kitchen counter - because where else would you go to make important decisions?!

Belle interrupted his thinking sesh: "Wow, life really got that hard for you?"

Well, with a 6ft7 basketball player after the same girl as him, it's safe to say Chris was a little bit worried.

6. Greg became part of the fam

It really was instantaneous.

Islander checklist:

✓ Tan lines✓ Good craic✓ Champ hat-wearer

Welcome to the villa, Greg.

7. Genies and squirrels and dolphins, oh my!

Chris's conversations are an absolute enigma to us all, and we love him all the more for it.

Playing a classic game, Chris tested India: "Would you rather brush your teeth with a squirrel or lick a goat’s face every day for the rest of your life?” After India picked the second option, Chris went on to ask: "If you could be part animal and part you, what animal would you be?"

These are the important questions in life, people.

Answering on three, they both said "dolphin", which had Chris so shook he was rolling on the floor - it seems like these two could be made for each other!

8. Never say never

Greg took Amber for a chat to see where her head's at with Michael: “If I was a betting man, I’d be like, he’s still in here because he had something with you.” Well, Greg, you just hit the nail on the head. Time to cash in!

Our fireman opened up to the boys: “Yeah I have been missing Joanna, but at the same time I’ve got to the point where I’ve realised I still like Amber.” Sorry if that made you spill your tea!

But will Amber be willing to give him a second chance? We'll have to wait and see as Michael walked over asking: “Do you mind if I jump in and steal Amber for a minute?"

It's about to go down...
