7 things we learnt on day 35
The villa was well and truly shook as not one, not two... but THREE relationships hit the end of the road.
From dance lessons to pieing to fashion statements and faux pas, it was quite the day for our Islanders. So here's the complete rundown of everything we learnt...
1. Maura was after more than a Cha-Cha
There were 10s all-round as the plot twist we were all waiting for finally happened... Maura made her moves on Curtis, asking him to teach her how to dance.
It was a Paso No-ble from Amy as she never got her own dance class, "Every single day for two weeks I asked. Every day." We're sure she'll be swept off her feet in no time.
2. Cushion throwing is an effective strategy for making sure your mate DOESN'T talk to their ex
When Amy even briefly suggested that she wanted to go for a chat with Curtis, Amber and Anna shut it down.
Our heartbroken air hostess explained: "We're in a really awkward, very intense situation here... I want him to tell me if he's going to crack on with someone else." But before Amy could even get her words out, gold sequined cushions were flying her way. Good job, girls.
Amber told the Beach Hut, "There's nothing more to say, stop trying to drag it out. What's done is done. You just need to move on and focus on yourself" We are SO here for this advice.
3. There were two pies for the price of one
After some deep breaths, Lucie and Maura decided to end things with Marvin and George... TOGETHER! Molly-Mae immediately caught on, telling the Islanders, "I think from the sounds of things, it's a little double dumping."
Michael's eyes were absolutely glued on them, "I'd say stop looking, but I can't stop looking myself." If this isn't all of us when there's drama, we don't know what is.

Our chill surfer told the boys: "Me and Maura are kind of feeling the same, to be honest, and we're just not feeling it." Wow, Lucie really did get straight to the point. Marvin was not a happy chappy as he felt that Maura had been frosty with him, but things weren't that deep for George as he struggled to keep a straight face.
4. There's a style icon in the villa
This is one man who's deffo ready for his close up.
We're 100% feeling Ovie's vibe rn.
5. Michael's already taking on BF duties.
He's got spotting lipstick on teeth down to a T.
Before we know it he'll be lying on the ground taking pics for the Gram.
6. Tommy had a bit of a wardrobe malfunction
Molly-Mae told Tommy his outfit wasn't her favourite, and we have NEVER seen the man move so fast!
It's safe to say we're probs not going to be seeing that shirt again any time soon.
7. If you don't know how to say something out loud, just mouth it.
Maura plucked up the courage to tell Curtis she had feelings for him after some much-needed encouragement from her villa buddy Lucie: "You're here to find your dream guy, and if you think he's your dream guy, you need to go for it." We couldn't have said that better ourselves.
Things got very awks as Maura stood silently in the kitchen, waiting to put the wheels in motion: "I couldn't say the words, so I kind of just stood there." But she came up with the perfect plan... instead of speaking loud, Maura mouthed, "Do you want to go for a chat?" It's HAPPENING, people.
The sparks began to fly, but Curtis made sure to tell Maura: "I'm single, so nothing's wrong - obviously I will not be doing anything in front of Amy. I have way too much respect."
