7 things we learnt on day 25
The temperature in the villa hit boiling point as one couple hit breaking point...
It was an intense day for our Islanders as the double dumping sent Tom and Arabella strutting down the driveway, suitcase (and boarding pass) in hand. We discovered that there’s nothing funnier than a boxer horse riding, you don’t mess with Maura and snoring is a BIG problem when you’re sharing a room with 13 people.
Here’s the complete rundown of everything we learnt on day 25...
1. Sticky lips are NOT a guy’s best friend…
Lip gloss may glisten for the gods, but it’s not great for snogging!
After (briefly) making up with Maura for talking about her behind her back, Tom said the most romantic line EVER heard...“I’d like to kiss you, but I don’t want sticky lips.”Spoiler alert: the glossy goodness only put him off for around 0.5 seconds…
But Maura still had her suspicions about Tom’s honesty as she told the Beach Hut “I do feel like something else has been said, and I’m not being told which is very annoying.” And it wasn't long before Detective Maura uncovered the truth.
2. There’s a new club in town
After one of your tweets claimed that Amber had Michael whipped, the firefighter decided to hail himself King of the Wet Mop Gang.
Someone get this man a crown.
3. There’s a snorer in the villa
Sharing a room with 13 other Islanders can be tough, and there’s more than one reason why earplugs are an absolute NECESSITY.
Curtis proved he has a good set of pipes on him, and they’ve been keeping Amy up at night.
4. Boxers, horse riding and songwriting make for a great date
Watching a heavyweight boxer mounting a horse was not something we (or Molly-Mae) expected to be quite so funny. The only thing that made Tommy and Molly-Mae’s horse riding date better? A mid-trot songwriting sesh. Take it away, Tommy:
"Me and Molly-Mae,We’re on our horses,We’re galloping down the street.I feel very insecure,You could buck me off,Molly-Mae looks sexy as f*** on a horse."
Music and lyrics by Tommy Fury.
5. 2008 Anton is back… and better than ever
Well if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
6. Maura is no fool
Our Irish beauty FINALLY found out the truth about everything Tom said about her from the source himself… Jordan.
After calling Tom out in front of the other Islanders, Arabella was quick to give Maura a pep talk, "You don't need a man, I know we're here to find love, but if it makes you feel like that it's not worth it."
7. Freshers week hit the villa in the best way possible... NEON!
*Memories of SU nights, Jager bombs and frozen ready meals all flood back in an instant*
