6 things we learnt from last night's show

The Islanders showed us their dirtiest dancing and the arrival of bombshell Rebecca sent Callum and Connor’s hearts racing. Here’s what went down on day 9…

1. Connagh makes a great cuppa

It seems like the small things mean the most to Sophie, and one of those things is the ability to make a good cup of tea.

As Connagh carried in the first tea he’d made for her, you could feel the suspense like it was a monumental moment in their relationship - could he make a tasty tea?

After a quick sip, Sophie revealed that Connagh passed the tea test saying: “That’s actually alright for your first go!”

2. Leanne gives a fierce massage

Can we take a moment to appreciate how hilarious it is that Leanne avoided the sexy massage route at all costs on her date with Mike! Instead, she gave him a rather rough treatment that involved far too much elbow, knuckle and baby oil.

Remind us to never accept a massage from Leanne, please! 🤣

3. Finn doesn’t rate his dancing skills

When the text about the boys vs girls dirty dancing challenge came through, Finn was quick to put it out there that dancing isn’t his forte.

Talking about what lay head in the Beach Hut, he said: “Oh my god. I am probably the stiffest person on the dance floor. You see me out clubbing - I am not dancing.”

4. A hair flick is a key dance move

Whilst preparing for the challenge, the girls turned to Siânnise for some words of wisdom and easy dance moves.

According to Siânnise, a hair flick is the route to go down - who knew it was so simple!? We can only imagine how thrilled Jess (the queen of hair flicks) must have felt when she heard that little nugget.

5. Siânnise has got some serious moves

We knew the girl could dance, but we didn’t know she could dirty dance! Siânnise really shook those tassels as she worked her way around the boys during last night’s challenge and you could see how much they were loving it.

Reminiscing over the dance once it was over, Mike said: “Siânnise came out with sauce!”

Yeah she did!

6. Connor and Callum’s hearts raced for Rebecca

The boys couldn’t hide their shock when a surprise bombshell stepped out of the villa and strutted her way to the firepit.

For Connor and Callum in particular, the excitement hit their hearts the hardest and Rebecca was the Islander that got their heart rate up the most.

We can’t wait to see how their dates go with her tonight…
