Love Island

5 things we learnt during last night’s show

The new bombshells got to know the girls and Connagh’s stay on Love Island came to an end as he was dumped from the villa. Here’s what we learnt during last night’s show…

1. Finn hates the maturity card

During Paige and Finn’s fallout after the arrival of the bombshells, Finn wasn’t too pleased when the maturity card was pulled out.

As Paige explained how his actions reflected his age (we still can’t believe he’s only 20!), Finn was quick to defend himself against the criticism. He said: “That’s what I was dreading most. To do one thing that would p*** you off and then get the whole maturity card thrown.”

2. Luke T likes a bit of sass

You guys did a great job when you voted for Siânnise to go on a first date with Luke T! Not only was Siânnise buzzing to get out of the villa, but Luke T said that she’s his type on paper and he even pronounced her name properly.

Scoring brownie points from the get-go, Luke T told her: “I’m really happy that I got you because you were one of the people that I had my eye on, I’m not gonna lie. I like a bit of sass and I feel like you have a little bit.”

3. Luke M and Jess are both dog people

Bonding over the big things during their date, Luke M and Jess found out that they actually have a lot in common! Not only are they both keen gym bunnies, but they also love dogs and dream of getting one as a pet.

It’s early days on the dog convo but it sounds like if they were to couple up, a labrador would be their dog of choice. Though we’re not too sure of Luke M’s suggestion of naming it Mayo… As in mayonnaise.

4. Sophie’s banter can backfire

When listing off compliments about the new bombshells in front of Connor (to wind him up), Sophie had no idea that he’d take them to heart.

It’s easy for wires to get crossed and jokes mixed up when people’s feelings are involved - and for Connor and Sophie we think that’s exactly what happened.

5. Nas has a special place in Siânnise’s heart

During last night’s tense recoupling, Siânnise was faced with a huge decision when it came to coupling up with Connagh or Nas.

Although she has no current romantic interest in Nas, she picked him to couple up with and her reasons were too cute. Standing at the firepit she said: “He is the life and soul of the villa. He makes me laugh, 24-7. His personality is amazing and it doesn’t go unnoticed by anyone.”

Friendship couples can be just as cute as relationship couples and this one is giving us all the feels.
